As the leaves start to let go and the acorn launch themselves at me in the forest, people also drop notes on the ground. Then later they get rained on until the message fades. In the meantime, this one was saved, on the floor outside the entrance to Bethnal Green overland station.

I hope it all worked out.

So I was a Poplar DLR the other week and saw this poster! Jon’s photo of Charlie Simpson all big and in my face! It looks brill and the album too and what a decent, sweet chap Charlie is. Was a really lovely shoot and we got fish and chips and tartare sauce at the end of it so a dream job !

Went home the other day and Mum was showing at the Wirksworth Festival , it was great and it was so cool hearing everyone loving mum’s work. ¬†It’s been going for years and years this festival and it takes over the whole town, one of those pretty towns in the Derbyshire Dales with lots of hills, fantastic bakeries, cute houses and churches everywhere. My favourite work after mum’s (Carol Ann Eason) was this chap Ralph McGaul , amazing paintings and prints.

So here is a bit of mum’s wall (she was in a high school ) and one show in a Parish Church had this little window with a crucifix, flowers and a Malteaser.

Yes, outside Wood Street station is a rift in the space-time continuum concentrated around the Royal Mail Post Box, your items arrive at their destination NOW rather than later. What if I could squeeze in there?
