Just back from the island on the west coast of Sweden.  Lovely lovely time, I never want to leave, we did lots of work this time to sort out the bedroom but we also had Rosanna and Gwenan to stay yay!  Jon  made Stompa bread, we picked blackberries, we ate loads of Prawns, dipped in the freezing sea,  snuggled in the attic, took saunas and beers, decorated, listened to country night on radio Sotenas.  laid on the rocks, and watched tv (we don’t have a tv at home).  Jon’s lovely cousin Maria came too and her new beau who has the same name as the old one.  Must be funny when that happens.  It was so so stormy with huge waves thrashing the rocks and cutting off the paths,  we got a sunny day on the last day. Of course we did. Had 2 lovely weddings and hung out with Jon’s folks in Tällberg too.  Jon’s mum and me went mushroom picking and our mushroom smelling bedroom / drying room is a testament to our good fortune.  Had a wonderful time on my birthday too at home with everyone and smiles and a giant pavlova Ann would’ve danced for.

Here’s what I’m talking about…

Helped Rosanna put up shelves with the great innuendo  in her new place, south of the river,  they look most powerful and balls will not roll off  them, she makes the best puttanesca ever eaten and lives near some amazing Soame buildings and charity shops.  I reckon it’s pretty likely I will visit again soon 🙂 Had great curry Friday night with Takako and Matt, turns out tokyo story is still a reasonably accurate portrayal of Japan though perhaps not Toyko? After we went to see Rohan and Iris and had such a cosy and content night. Me and Rohan very happily reminisced, Iris and Jon excitedly talked about the future and before we left we watched “my new best friend”  Mark Wooton is the biz.
Been quiet on here because I spent the rest of the weekend editing my wee animation, got half way, all is well then got 2 thirds along and the program quit. There is no auto save, after several minutes of quiet reflection I started again and now save at every second.  I’m busy next few days but I’m gonna try to finish it in the evenings so I’ll upload it soon. Prepare to be razzledazzled.

So me and Jon had a great time in Sweden, skating (being pulled by Jon and his mum) on a deep lake, pulka (sledging) both of us squeezed on a kid’s sledge, hard on the tailbone but muchas funass! Loads other fun capers, we both got each other comics too, I got Jon an English one and he got me a Swedish one but we we mostly too tired or hungover to read another language so we read the gift we got each other instead and tittered on the sofa with Flisa the dog. Both very funny and rude comics. Our pals Johan and Josefine have these 2 Sphynx cats, they have no hair so love to cuddle and sit on the heater. It was -15 when we were there so they don’t really go out much in Sweden I guess…Jon took loads of pics of them . I have too many favourites so here are 3 of my top 10. Beautiful clever cats.  And amazing pics by Jon
